ABOUT
TRANSFORMING METRO STOPS INTO THEATRE STAGES
presented at the Milano Architecture Week 2024
in collaboration with Linda Forestieri and Giona Mazzucchelli
For the MAW 2024 we changed the metro stops of Milano – places of transition that usually exist solely to take you to another place – into places where one remains, feels and dances. We created an audio piece that guides the visitors by a voice over headphones, letting them become the performers with and for each other. The two platforms were thus transformed into stages, divided by the passing trains that opened and closed the scenes like a curtain.
